JITO Covid Care Centre

Jito Hyderabad has always been eager to do its bit in the fight against Covid. Even during the first phase, a Covid care CENTRE where nearly 500 patients were treated successfully, which was run by JITO Hyderabad at Hotel Fern, Secunderabad.

In response to the alarming spread of positive covid -19 cases during the second wave, JITO (Jain International Trade Organization ) Hyderabad Chapter, as a part of its service initiative is restarting the JITO COVID CARE CENTRE (JCCC) at HOTEL LEMON TREE, Banjara Hills from the 23 rd of April 2021.

The 100 bed facility in the city CENTRE would be an ideal isolation and quarantine facility for mild and asymptomatic covid-19 patients. The CENTRE would be run in association with Mahavir Hospital And Research CENTRE (MHRC) . The CENTRE is compliant with ICMR guidelines and is approved by the Telangana Health Department. Admission would be strictly restricted to Covid positive patients aged between 15-60 years and oxygen levels above 95 without any past health issues. In addition to this the approval of doctors at the CENTRE after physical examination is mandatory.The CENTRE would serve pure vegetarian food.

The patients would stay in Ac Deluxe rooms with tv and wifi facilities. Though it is a substitute to home quarantine and is not a hospital, it will provide 24 *7 doctor and nursing facilities. The condition of the patients would be reviewed by the team of doctors on a daily basis. The patients would be provided with a medical kit consisting of a thermometer, respirometer, sanitizer , masks and steam inhaler, Pharmacy, diagnostic services and consultation on a video call with specialist doctor facility is available. In case of an emergency Ambulance transfer facility is also available.

This Project Convenor for the JCCC is Shri Jayant Jain centre is being by a team of young and dynamic committee members such as Shri Mahesh Golechha, Shri B L Bhandari, Shri Rohit Kothari, Shri Paresh Shah, Shri Sushil Sancheti, Shri Nalin Khara, Shri Lalit Chopra, Shri Anil Bohra, Shri Vishal Anchalia, Shri Vinod Gandhi, Shri Hitesh Vanigota, Shri Nikhil Shah, Shri Ritesh Sethia, Shri Abhay Tated, Shri Praveen Lodha, Shri Sudhir Sethia, Shri Anand Bhalghat,Shri Prashant Kocheta, Shri Navin Dasanni, Shri Ashok Vajawat, Shri Ajay Tholia, Shri Vijay Sanghvi, Shri Manoj Parmar, Shri Jitendra Doshi and many more..

The advisors for this project are Shri Gautam Chand Pokarna, Shri Gautam Choradia, Shri Gautam Munot, Shri Manoj Dugar and Shri Sunil Pahade.

Apart from the above the following members present were from MHRC , Shri Mahendra Ranka-Chairman MHRC, Shri Sunil Kumar Jain Pahade, Shri Sushil Kapadia and Shri Sushil SanchetiMHRC.

To effectively run this centre the committee have been formed and members have been divided amongst the following teams :

Registration Team, Admission Team, Hotel Management Team, Food Committee, Medicine and Pharmacy Team , Media and Communication Comm. Accounts Comm & Medical Emergency Comm.

The team of doctors are led by Dr .K. Rambabu, who is a very senior doctor and expert in treating covid affected patients. Dr Shankar and Dr Balwant are also very experienced Doctors helping us in this CENTRE.
